Difficult weekend

This weekend is not one I would willingly repeat and I'm not going to post about it because it's not really my business to do so. I will say one thing however. My future in-laws are the nicest, most generous, caring, welcoming, family I could have hoped for. In extremely difficult circumstances where I could easily have been overlooked, I was treated as one of the family and not once made to feel that I was in the way or that it was awkward to have me there. I think, in the scheme of things, I'm really, really lucky.
