I seem to spend a lot of time here apologising for being lazy and not blogging. Ah well, if that's the way the cookie crumbles...mmm...cookie... Anyway, where was I? There really isn't much to report at the moment, the financial worries of the world are not effecting us hugely...yet. There's always time. We're a little worried about Graham's job right now, the hours are drying up as no one is really moving and his company has just been merged into the parent company so the other employees all seem to get chosen for work over the ones from his company. Not fair, highly irritating and not really helpful to new home owners but what can you do? Anyway, he's looking for new work but with 100 applicants per job at the moment here it's going to be a while and any money coming in is better than no money coming in! We've got savings and stuff so even if he did lose his job for a little while, we wouldn't be in dire straites for a bit. Mind you, the first thing he wants to do right now is buy a boat so that when he's not at work he can go fishing! Gotta love him... I got to talk to my friend at home the other week for her birthday and that was really lovely, I really am terrible at keeping in touch and to all of you out there I do truly apologise. I am going to attempt to write some letters this weekend to be sociable but it will also depend on how long I can get Graham out from under my feet for as to whether it gets done... :) I hope you're all well and not to troubled by economic worries.
