New things learnt

Today I have learnt that if at all possible, when flying with Singapore Airlines, USE the internet check in facility that means you can check in from the comfort of your own home and when you get to the airport all you have to do is wander up to the desk allocated for internet check in and give them your bags and pick up your boarding pass. This enables you to bypass the stupid sods doing it the old way and queueing for over an hour in order to check in in an area where the air con doesn't work. Great. I was hot and sweaty BEFORE spending 11 hours on a plane. And all the window seats were taken. Grrr. On to Sydney...
