Anybody else fancy a shot? *shakes fist at sky*

About a month ago, some of you may remember that we had a few troubles with our car. At the time I said that we probably needed a new one but no. We got a boat and then a motor for the boat instead. This meant that as we were coasting down our drive last night towing the boat after an aborted fishing trip because the new motor hadn't started (we later worked out that it may have been in gear so not as serious as first though. May have been) the really REAALLY predominant thought in our minds was 'I hope that the handbrake still works to stop us because our brakes sure as hell don't'. Yup, after a week in which the key I had cut for the car has buggered the drivers side door lock so it's stuck locked (you now, on most occasions, have to climb in over the passenger seat) and in which new leaks formed so that when it rains the passenger has puddles by their feet and a small lake in the back, the brakes have now locked on and burnt out. Fan-flippin'-tastic. So we have a new boat, but no savings with which to buy a car to tow said boat to the water. Oh, and running for the bus this morning, I leapt over the water in the drain but failed to appreciate that the grass on the other side was just thinly covering mud. So I had to stand on the bus in slippery, muddy open toed shoes then walk 5 blocks to work. Life just keeps on getting better.
