When will I, will I be famous?

Well, yesterday is the answer!

I am fabulous, everyone knows that, but it seems that my fame has spread as far as the Australian Bureau of Meteorology who were so SO impressed with me that when a low situated 200kms off the Cairns coast yesterday morning reached the magical speed and pressure that meant it became important enough to name, they immediately thought of me.

Yes, Tropical Cyclone Ellie was the cause of much interest yesterday and we kept a careful eye on it as it (I?) meandered south of Cairns and finally crossed the coast near Mission Beach, approximately 140kms south of us.

I was in quite a bit of trouble at work this morning, I got told off for not being closer to Cairns and giving everyone a day off. As I told them though, when you're famous you don't have to cater to the whims of the masses ;)

Isn't this headline a cracker? :)
